Y.B. Tuan Nik Nazmi bin Nik Ahmad

Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad is a Malaysian politician, writer, and advocate for reform, social justice, and sustainability. He currently serves as a two term Member of Parliament for Setiawangsa since 2018 and is founder and co-host of Lebih Masa podcast. He served as Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability from 2022 to 2025.

He previously was a State Assemblyman in Selangor where he held the positions of Deputy Speaker (2013-2014) and State EXCO member (2014-2018). In the People's Justice Party he held several positions including Youth Leader (2014-2018) and Vice President (2022-2025).

Beyond his political responsibilities, Nik Nazmi is a prolific author, having written several books including Saving the Planet and Malaysian Son.

A graduate in law from King’s College London, he has long championed progressive policies, intergenerational equity, and sustainable development. Deeply engaged in community life, he is also passionate about football and founded Kuala Lumpur Rangers FC.
