Joel Khaw

Joel Khaw is the Head of Group Sustainability Strategic Management and Governance at RHB Banking Group, leading the Group’s sustainability and climate agenda, including its Net Zero roadmap and governance. Previously with Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (BPMB), he spearheaded the Measuring Impact on National Development (MIND) Framework and led the development of the Climate Finance Innovation Lab (CFIL), a collaborative platform to ideate, develop, and accelerate innovative climate finance solutions. He has over a decade of experience in sustainable finance and sustainability strategy consulting.
