Arifah Sharifuddin

Arifah Sharifuddin is the Institute Director at the Tech For Good Institute, where she leads the Institute’s strategy and operations to advance responsible, inclusive, and evidence-based digital development across Southeast Asia.

She brings extensive experience in national-level digital transformation, cross-sector collaboration, and ecosystem building. Previously, Arifah was with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), where she drove transformative initiatives in the tourism sector including DE Rantau, Malaysia’s digital nomad programme. She also spearheaded digital adoption across other sectors such as digital government transformation, agriculture, and the sharing economy, contributing to Malaysia’s broader digital economy agenda. Her work reflects a strong commitment to leveraging technology for inclusive growth and strengthening institutional capacity to shape the region’s digital future.
